We have all been there. You move in, you think its perfect, yet in a week you realize you are missing something. We are here to help you avoid this drastic problem and be dorm ready for all situations!
1) Mini fridge
Seriously.... this is a must. Cafeteria food gets old in about one day, and you will need a place to store your late night snacks (check out our article on 5 best dorm ready meals to help you with your pickings). Mini fridges are cheap and they will help you in the long run. This is a long term investment.
I don't care where you go to school, a fan will help you in any climate. Nothing is worse than burning up in your dorm room. Beat the heat (or the cold) with a fan.
3) Comfy chair
When I showed up to my dorm, I opted out of a comfy chair to chill in, this was a huge mistake. You underestimate the amount of times you will hang out in your friends room. Finding a good seat with a large group in a dorm, is pulling a needle out of a haystack. Do yourself a favor, and get a comfy chair.
This one is straightforward. You can't trust your dorm plugs, and you will always have people coming in and out of your room asking for a place to charge their phone.
We are college students.... we don't like to do laundry. You will be on the go all the time, and having an armada of towels is only to your benefit. Towels start to smell after a couple uses, this will help you score points with your friends and on that special date. Always smell good.
